SPACE MESSENGERS [AR]

Exciting news! We recently unveiled our new SPACE MESSENGERS [AR] experience at the Q Station during the ACSP (Association of Commercial Space Professionals) Space Regulatory Bootcamp, held from March 4-7, 2024. This year’s bootcamp was just as engaging as last year’s, featuring insightful speakers and attendees, and discussions on various space topics.

STEMarts Lab had the honor of creating an interactive art experience for bootcamp participants, introducing our latest augmented reality platform. Some of our youth ambassadors assisted in creating the art, while others served as experience guides, providing attendees with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the AR journey. These ambassadors also had the chance to attend space presentations and network with professionals in the space industry.

The launch allowed us to test our new augmented reality experience artistically, and we’re looking forward to the next iterations. To learn more about the event and explore the augmented space objects created by artists and students, visit the SPACE MESSENGERS [AR] webAR page.

Stay tuned for our next STEM[AR]T event, coming soon!

This project was part of our new STEMarts Youth in Space initiative, generously sponsored by the Lor Foundation, and UNM Taos HIVE who sponsors the youth training workshops where we created the art and technology for the event. Thank you to all our event sponsors that made this experience possible.
