STEMarts Lab would like to send a Very Large Thank You to The Encantado Foundation! Their support makes possible field trips like this where we took our 2023 Apprentice cohort to the Very Large Array for a private tour coordinated by STEAM Manager, Summer Ash. On the way we stopped at the Q Station where Director, Randy Trask, gave a tour of the hip space tech incubator and shared how their voices are needed to actively shape the future direction of space exploration. This grant supports our Apprenticeship and Ambassador program which provide STEAM training in AR/VR/XR, mentorship, leadership development and participation as experience guides at our Space Messengers international traveling exhibit. With our partners at The Encantado Foundation, LANL CPO and LANL Foundation we are empowering our New Mexico youth leaders through art, science and technology to reimagine a sustainable future for earth and space. #sciart #STEAMeducation #STEMeducation #newmexico #mentorship #VR/AR/XR
