Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles has found an unconventional way to treat chronic pain – virtual reality programs designed by the company Applied VR. The VR experiences “hijack” the brains of patients, drastically reducing their perception of pain. In the latest episode of Superhuman, we look at the technology and meet patients benefiting from it.
