By developing and harnessing learners’ and educators’ creativity for innovation and transferable innovative thinking, we facilitate ‘tooling up for the 21st Century’. Our educational approach and resources are Ireland’s only cross-curricular, place-based STEAM education, with SDG-aligned projects, and inquiry-based learning resources that have been developed and tested under research conditions.
Partner Stories
It has been a privilege working with STEMarts Lab, the other advisors, ambassadors, teachers, and especially the students, all these years. Seeing the progress they make during the program and, in some cases, from year to year, is encouraging and energizing. Interacting with the participants teaches me to clarify the role of fundamental research in society in my own mind and their enthusiasm gives me optimism for the future of our planet.
Working with STEMarts has opened my eyes to a whole new world of scientific creativity, thought, data visualization, science communication, and – perhaps most importantly – ways of engaging with students of all ages. I am so impressed with the innovative infrastructure of the program and how STEMarts has created a space for these young, brilliant women to feel safe and excited in pursuing their ideas and asking their questions, as they work to understand the deepest mysteries of our universe in unique and thoughtful ways.
